Located in Pollachi road, 10 kms from Coimbatore. The temple was built in 1500 A.D. The sthalapuranam states that this diety was taken to be installed at Perur Patteshwarar temple from Madurai. On its way, at Eachanari, the programme had to be terminated and the place got blessed by installing the diety here. The deity stands 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide.
